valuable information

Wow! Time flies. Life's been busy around here. As you can see blogging has slipped down on my priority list (I've got lots of catching up to do). I've been out for a while due to health issues. These UTI's started coming around every two weeks. This has been a true test for me.

My sweet husband started doing research. At one point he said, "I'll fly you to the other side of the world if I have to, to find a Doctor that can help treat this problem." He loves me!

This last year I've had every kind of test known to man done on me and everything turns out "looking good" as the Doctors would say. This has been great news but frustrating at the same time because I continued to be in constant pain.

Through my husbands dedication and research he found a Vulvar clinic (who knew there was such a thing) These specialists are very knowledgeable with issues that quite frankly, gyno's have no clue about. These specialists are few in number. Now imagine the excitement when I learned that there was one right here in Phoenix.

Within the first 5 minutes of meeting with Dr. Brooks he looked at me and said, " I know exactly what's going on here and it's not that big of a deal. We'll have you fixed in no time." I'll admit I wasn't as convinced as he was but after six weeks I've had ZERO infections! This is a record. I'm thrilled and passing on the information just in case you might know someone that could use it.

Have a great day! I know I will.

Hey Lorri did you get diagnosed with interstitial cystitis? My mom has suffered with UTIs since she was a little girl and that is what they diagnosed her with, but I am curious in other diagnosises because they really don't know how to help people with IC and so my mom continues to suffer. Any input on this would be great.
