This picture is terrifying. Why? you might ask... I’ll zoom in for you, and you can see for yourself! That picture was taken just seconds before Nathan was stung. You can see that he had absolutely no idea that the scorpion’s long thin arched stinger was about to pierce his skin. next... comes the sting. He realizes what is happening and while holding his foot, leaps into the air. Look how high he jumps! The expression on his face says it all! Poor guy. My son is FINE of course. He experienced brief pain with a little swelling, but ME… I’m not OK! These evil little, eight legged creatures are creepy! We’ ve lived in our home for six years and have never had an issue. I pray that one never finds its way into our home or I swear, I’m out of here! I’m not even kidding, ask B.T.C!!! she's been pal-in around with Brit for the last three years. Pixie shops, plays, sleeps and even prays right next to Brit. She visits pre-school on a regular basis for Show 'n Tell and sometimes makes her way to church (without momma knowing). This t i n y... s n u g l y... most a d o r a b l e... s q u i s h y... s o f t... stuffed animal has given years of smiles. Pixie feels like part of the family.

I can’t get over how a simple, timeless activity like blowing bubbles continues to entertain not only my kids,but me, for hours. I love to watch as they take turns pressing their lips against the little orange plastic wand to see who can blow the biggest or the most bubbles. It’s no problem when their little plastic containers are empty because they’ve become pretty good at making the perfect homemade bubble solution. How do we entertain kids? endlessly……BUBBLES!
