The girls have been enjoying selecting outfits for school spirit week. I love my spunky girls!

SWEET LITTLE NOTE ... I went around the house collecting dirty clothes from each of the kids' bedrooms.  When I walked into Nathan's room I saw this on his bed. It warms my heart to know that his little sister adores him. MORP ... Nathan got asked to MORP(50's theme) by this cute girl.  Once Nathan unscrambled the letters and figured out who was asking him to the dance I explained that about 11 years prior this very girl used to carpool to kindergarten with us.   Of course he didn't remember but I continued to explain that I had the early morning route.  Kendall had a bit of kindergarten anxiety and cried almost every morning when it was time to be separated from her mother.  I told him that he used to hold her hand and walk her to class for the first few weeks of school until she become comfortable with her new surroundings.   BRITLEY DRAWS A SELF PORTRAIT ... I got a special delivery on Valentines Day. Every year the girls get a special visit from  their daddy during their school lunch hour. Thank you for loving us so well.

It was so nice seeing family while visiting Kansas City this past week!  While I was there I also spent time with friends from the past. FRIENDS: I had a great time meeting up with with my sister and Danni Boatwright.  Before Danni became well known as the winner (season 11) of the Reality TV show SURVIVOR we were childhood school buddies.  I'm so proud of who she is and the contributions she has made to the world.  It was fun meeting for lunch and catching up on each other's lives. A NOTE FROM BRIT: I reached into my luggage to retrieve something when I noticed a little white piece of paper.  I smiled big and felt loved while reading my little note.  I laughed out loud while reading the inside. As I handed the paper to Mr. B.T.C. I said, "How could I ever say NO to that?" When I talked to her on the phone I replied with a big "YES!" Mr. B.T.C. and I recently flew to Kansas City. We were just there a few weeks ago but this time it was under different circumstances. We were there to support my father, who's sister(Debbie- age 56) died of a stroke suddenly and unexpectedly. I've never seen a photograph of my Dad with his siblings so I huddled them together to capture this special moment. Debra was born April 4, 1956 in Pottstown, PA to John Edward and Helen Brady. She grew up in KC, KS and later moved to Gardner where she attended Gardner High School.  She worked at Sprint for 18 years and most recently worked for the Kansas City School District. She was preceded in death by her parents.  Debra is survived by her daughter April(Chris) Richards of Spring Hill, KS; her seven siblings, Patricia Wheat of KC, KS, Gary(Deina)Brady of Sparta, MO, Denni(Connie) Brady of Springfield, MO, Donna(David) McCarthy of Pomona, KS, Eric Brady of PO, KS, Lonna (Rick) Mitchell of Branson, MO, Randy Brady of OP,KS ...
