C Life

Well, my boys are growing up on me.  This one turned s-e-v-e-n-t-e-en!!! He's been an easy one to raise.  No, really I'm not just saying that.  He has been such a delight from the moment I brought him home from the hospital.  What makes him so delightful?  Just to name a few... - He's calm and collected...ALWAYS! - He athletic.  You should see this boy ride his dirt bike, snow board, play soccer or flag football. Not just any flag football team, but the kind of flag football for adults.  Yes, he plays on Mr. B.T.C's Saturday morning team. - He's smart.  His report card always puts a smile on my face. - His family adores him.  ALL of US!  You know how you have some members of your family that at one time or another can't quite seem to get along with someone at some point or another (yes, I have some of those running around my house).  Well, not this one.  He's the peacemaker that EVERYONE loves to be around.  This i...

Within the last two months my oldest son has had his 18th birthday, last day of high school, graduation, and received his mission papers.  You think about these milestones your kids will one day experience and wait with anticipation and excitement right along side them. Then without warning (it seems) "THE DAY" arrives and you realize that your boy has grown up. What a gift he is to the world! He is ready and prepared to take on the next chapter of his fife.  We are proud parents! Proud parents of the graduate! Britley, Hayley, and Breeley waiting for the ceremony. My sister, Chrisy, came from Vegas to support Nathan. Nathan just after receiving his diploma. Proud moment! One of Nathan's biggest fans, his sister Brit Nathan and Casson Whitney and Kirk came to cheer Nathan on. G-ma and Papa Craig wouldn't miss this for anything!

Nathan has been waiting his whole life for this moment! Elder Nathan Craig has been called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the Canada Halifax Mission.  He will report July 30, 2014! He is so thrilled! Friends and family gather around to support Nathan.

I can't believe school will be out next month!  This year flew by.  I wanted to capture a photo of these two before they headed off to school. Why? No reason!  It's one of those "just because" moments. :) They are at the age where they are starting experiment with make-up :) I sure do love these girls of mine. They brighten my day!

Have we really been married this long?! I guess it's not so much the number of years as it is the quality of the relationship.  What a BLESSING to be able to say that it just keeps getting better! There are times when I glance at him from across the room (even after all these years together) and feel such a sense of gratitude that he is mine.  This let's me know, I still have a crush on him!!! This photo can speak to you in one of two ways: 1.  He is about to choke me, which I'm certain this may have crossed his mind a time or two  throughout the years. He says I can be stubborn at times, but only sometimes. :) or 2. He is lovingly wrapping his arms around me, seconds from whispering something romantic into my ear.  Sorry to disappoint, but it is the latter.  We are kind of mushy, mushy that way. Yeah, we wanna still act like we are cool sometimes---even after five kids.
