SPRING BREAK 2014

I love Spring Break. It's a nice time for the kids to take a break from the books and flock to the sand, sun and fun.

One of our favorite places to stay while visiting Mission Beach is the Pacific Terrace.  It overlooks the beach and is only minutes from the old town shops and amazing restaurants.


















I was so thrilled when I found out my sister (Chrisy) and her two children (Hayley and Reilly) would be joining us.  They are a ball of energy and SO MUCH FUN!

Seriously?! I can't believe Mr. B.T.C let me in on the fun.  It made for some good laughs!



One of Britley's idols is her Aunt Chrisy.  I'm so happy my sister was able to join us.




  We are a close little band of characters who are different in so many ways yet have so much in common. Some of our most memorable moments have come from times like this which include relaxing on the beach, story telling (about old times), fun, games, laughter and good food. 

When I look at my life, the happiest moments are when family are present. Thank you family for the remarkable clan that you are and thank you Mr. B.T.C for yet another cozy, delightful and splendid  vacation!

The boys (Wes and Dawson) are off to scout camp.  Mr. B.T.C and Nathan just left on a hunting trip to Utah.  That leaves me and the girls home alone.  Get ready to shop until you drop girls! This is gonna be a fun week! Late night movies, pizza, chocolate cake and popcorn.  Afternoon and late night swimming.  Shopping bags galore. BACK TO SCHOOL 2012.

Woa, I'm already school shopping?!  How is it possible that the summer is gone and school is upon us already?   I may not be ready for the kids to go back to school quite yet (I want more vacation time ) but they are.   Now that the kids have met their teachers (we got lucky, everyone is thrilled with their teacher choice) and have reacquainted themselves with friends they are ready to begin a new school year.  Britley is a THIRD grader this year. She is extremely bright and ready to get to work. Breeley is a FIFTH grader.   I can't believe it!  She makes friends easily and is happy to meet her "new friends". Dawson is in 8th grade.   This will be his last year of Jr. High!  Oh boy- I'm sure he will make it a memorable year (His poor teachers).  He happens to be the "funny kid" in school.  We've gotten to know all his teachers a little more than we would have liked to.
