I anxiously pulled into the school parking lot a little earlier than usual.  According to Britley we had made the “perfect” birthday party invitations just the night before. She had given me strict instructions to be at school early so she could hand out her pool party themed invitations to friends she had meticulously selected. She climbed into the car as usual with a big smile stretched across her face. She was happy to see her mom but even happier when she saw the neatly stacked pile of colorful invitations. She grabbed the stack and off she disappeared into the maze of children.  Before I knew it she was back in the car and the two of us sat waiting for Breeley(sister) to finish after school flute lessons.
