Craft Day With Grandma Kelly

There's something magical about an afternoon spent at Grandma Kelly's house...especially when crafts are involved.

Grandma planned a special fall craft day for the kids, and every detail was ready when they arrived. The table was covered with piles of markers, googly eyes, pom-poms, stickers, and every kind of crafty treasure a child could imagine.

Each child received a little orange tin can with a wire handle to transform into a one-of-a-kind Halloween creation. Before long, the room was filled with silly faces, colorful monsters, and lots of giggles as each can took on its own personality.

The fun didn't stop there. Grandma also had a pumpkin waiting for each grandchild to carve or decorate. No two pumpkins looked alike, and that was the best part. Every masterpiece reflected the imagination of the little artist behind it.

The crafts were adorable, but the real treasure wasn't what they made, it was the memories they created together.

Grandma Kelly has a special way of turning ordinary afternoons into childhood memories that will last a lifetime. This one was definitely too cute to spook!

The boys (Wes and Dawson) are off to scout camp.  Mr. B.T.C and Nathan just left on a hunting trip to Utah.  That leaves me and the girls home alone.  Get ready to shop until you drop girls! CALI TRIP

Craig Family Vacation Fall 2014 from Lorri Craig on Vimeo . The kids wanted to head to Cali over Fall Break. I had a few other ideas in mind, but the boys had their hearts set on taking their dirt bikes along and trying out some of the tracks in Southern California.  It turned out to be a good idea because they seriously had the time of their lives. Like Father, Like Son... There is nothing like family trips! We bond, laugh and create memories.  We sure did miss our oldest son Nathan.  He put it best when in a recent letter when he said,  "Well right about now you are probably on vacation. It's a bummer we're not all together, but that's alright! I'm over here bringing souls unto Christ, so I win!"   You can read more about his adventures HERE .
