Nathan Turns 14

This one will be creeping right into adulthood before long. We realize our time with him at home will begin to dwindle before we know it, so we're trying to take in every moment.

We love you, Nathan, and appreciate the example you are to your brothers and sisters.

A few facts about Nathan at 14...

He loves just about any kind of weapon made...especially guns. Yikes!

He's a very bright kid but doesn't always feel it's necessary to turn in some of his school assignments. That is, until his iPod gets taken away. Then suddenly, those assignments become a priority. Funny how that works.

He loves pizza and BBQ wings.

He's beginning to think girls aren't so bad after all.

He can get along with just about anyone—with the occasional exception of his youngest brother. 😉

He's responsible and knows how to work hard.

He loves the Scouting program.

He wishes he had his OWN cell phone instead of having to share the family phone.

He's enjoying the stake dances he now gets to attend.

And he loves his Church responsibilities.

Fourteen already. We sure love the young man you're becoming, Nathan.

The boys (Wes and Dawson) are off to scout camp.  Mr. B.T.C and Nathan just left on a hunting trip to Utah.  That leaves me and the girls home alone.  Get ready to shop until you drop girls! This is gonna be a fun week! Late night movies, pizza, chocolate cake and popcorn.  Afternoon and late night swimming.  Shopping bags galore. CALI TRIP

Craig Family Vacation Fall 2014 from Lorri Craig on Vimeo . The kids wanted to head to Cali over Fall Break. I had a few other ideas in mind, but the boys had their hearts set on taking their dirt bikes along and trying out some of the tracks in Southern California.  It turned out to be a good idea because they seriously had the time of their lives. Like Father, Like Son... There is nothing like family trips! We bond, laugh and create memories.  We sure did miss our oldest son Nathan.  He put it best when in a recent letter when he said,  "Well right about now you are probably on vacation. It's a bummer we're not all together, but that's alright! I'm over here bringing souls unto Christ, so I win!"   You can read more about his adventures HERE .
